Stacey MacGrath Gifford           

Stacey Gifford joined the Nanobiotechnology group at IBM Research in 2014 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research interests are developing biomedical applications of nanobiotechnology tools for high-sensitivity molecular detection. She also is interested in understanding how enzyme localization in bacteria correlates with their function and active state.

Stacey received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in 2013. She received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2007.
