Jim A. Laredo           

Hi, Jim Laredo here, I have been leading the Scalable Services Ecosystems, first with the GTO topic in 2013 by the same name, and now through the activities of the Services Fabric: an environment to facilitate the consumption of APIs. We work very closely with our partners in Software Solutions Group, Software Middleware Group and Global Business Services bringing IBM and their customers into a thriving API economy.

I am a Manager at T.J Watson Research Center in NY, our team had focused on IT Service Management introducing Enterprise Crowdsourcing to discover unstructured knowledge within the enterprise. We built a novel platform to exploit the business network and discover large quantities of knowledge often distributed and hard to find. We also worked in Identity and Access Management to bring our SO organization to the latest state of the art in compliance when it comes to privilege access to infrastructure.

I got my engineering degree from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela, and my Masters in Computer Science from University of Toronto.
