Sanjoy Dey           

I am a Research Staff Member(RSM) at the Center for Computational Health. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Minnesota. My research interest lies in machine learning on biomedical data with a special interest in healthcare informatics. I am broadly interested in developing machine learning techniques to analyze the enormous amounts of data that is being generated from observational data such as Electronic Health Records, and from experimental data such as clinical trials of drugs, and patient's genomic and genetic data. My experience has spanned the following topics: deep learning, relationship mining, building interpretable models and multivariate statistical models. 

I have been awarded IBM's Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards (OTAA) for Healthcare Predictive Modeling 2018. I also served on the program committee of leading international conferences on healthcare and medical informatics including AMIA and ICHI.
