Chaya Levovitz           

Chaya Levovitz is a Research Staff Member in the Computational Genomics group at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center managed by Dr. Laxmi Parida. She completed her MD/PhD at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Chaya defended her dissertation in April 2014 and received a PhD from the Computational Biology Program (COB), an interdisciplinary doctoral program in computational biology combining training in biomedical science at Mount Sinai with applied mathematics at the Courant Institute for Mathematical Science at NYU. She joined IBM Research in 2016 as a post-doctoral researcher and was converted to research Staff Member in 2018.
