I am a senior research scientist in Healthcare and life sciences division with expertise in natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning, software engineering and healthcare informatics. I have been working on natural language processing methodologies/applications to accelerate scientific discovery in biomedical sciences as well as clinical summarization applications to facilitate healthcare organizations with more analytics-driven opportunities to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes. Other topics I have worked on include question answering, semantic network generation, key phrase extraction, word sense disambiguation (WSD), abbreviation recognition and disambiguation, information extraction, relation detection and question answering.
