Boaz Carmeli           

Boaz Carmeli (M) is Research Staff Member at IBM Research - Haifa. Mr Carmeli holds a M.Sc. in computer science from the Technion in Israel. Mr Carmeli is involved in the definition, design and implementation of IT solutions for Healthcare, such as IBM Oncology Care decision support, IBM Clinical Genomics Analysis Platform, Optimization of Patient Flow in Emergency Departments, Health Information Exchange, the Public Health Information Affinity Domain, and the Hypergenes and EuResist EU projects. During his scientific career at IBM Research, Mr. Carmeli publish more than twenty papers, filed more the ten patents and made contributions to several other computer science fields such as wireless networks for hand held devices, high throughput data networks and multicast protocols.
