I am a Healthcare Data Scientist in Integrated Care Research Center for Computational Health, IBM Research, Cambridge, MA. My research focuses on Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) and racial bias in diabetes and hypertension using ontologies through the AI Horizons Network partnership with Rensselaer Polytechnic University (RPI). I am also involved in the Future of Work initiatives as well as a Watson Health Design Justice initiative. 

My research interests include healthcare, health disparities, mental health, UX/ AI Research, and behavioral science. I work on creating research designs, coordinating experiments, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data for Artificial Intelligence applications in healthcare. 

I am currently a part-time Masters student at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Biomedical Informatics. I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, GA in 2017. Outside of my day to day role, I am the co-founder of the Greater Boston Black Network (GBBN) Business Resource Group (BRG) for Massachusetts and am involved in many of the recuriting and change efforts within the Black constituency of IBM. Recently I was appointed to the Research Culture: Diversity, Inclusion and Racial Justice Task Force as well as the UTHealth Diversity Taskforce. I am on the organizing committee for the NorthEastern Computational Health Summit ( ) and am involved with the Boston Latin Academy Partnership as the Educational Co-coordinator, the Well-being Champions, New Hire Network, and Community @ Cambridge.
