A pseudopotential calculation for resistivity due to twin boundaries is presented. For silver, the twin-boundary resistivity is computed to be 8-10-8 μΩ cm2 times the linear twin density. This is within a factor of 5 of a value determined experimentally. © 1973 The American Physical Society.
