OPEN LOOP GAIN LIMITATIONS FOR PUSH-PULL OFF-CHIP-DRIVERS.
Abstract
Open loop gain limitations for a new type of off-chip driver (OCD) are described. This new OCD uses feedback to make the output signal track an internal ramp. The driver impedance is matched to the output transmission line using gain adjustment.
