CONTEXT 2005
The creation of new paradigms for using computers is an essential piece of an invention-design-evaluation triangle for creating human-computer interaction. As this article shows via examples, it is the artifact and working technology that often help people have ideas about what they can do next. Described are some of the new ways that visual interfaces, physical form, I/O devices, and models of communication are changing the ways and kinds of things people do with computers.
