Niko Pavliček, born in Stuttgart (Germany), has been a post-doctoral researcher at the IBM Research since 2013. He is working together with Dr. L. Gross and Dr. G. Meyer on atomic/molecular manipulation by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM).

Prior to joining IBM, Niko received his PhD in physics from the University of Regensburg (Germany) with honors (summa cum laude) in 2013 in the group of Prof. Dr. Jascha Repp for his thesis entitled "Scanning Probe Methods Applied to Molecular Electronics".

In 2009, Niko earned his Master’s (Diplom) degree in physics, also in the group of Prof. Dr. Jascha Repp, at the University of Regensburg.
