Nico Mosso is a pre-doctoral researcher in the Materials Integration & Nanoscale Devices (MIND) group of the Science & Technology department at the IBM Research laboratory in Zurich.
His research focuses on investigating heat transfer at the very nanoscale, through atomic and molecular contacts.
His research interests span from heat and charge transport at the nanoscale to energy conversion processes and nanoelectronic devices.
Nico Mosso received his Bachelor's degree in Physics Engineering at Politecnico di Torino and his M.Sc. degree in Nanotechnologies for ICTs from Politecnico di Torino, EPFL (Lausanne) and INPG (Grenoble).
He joined IBM in 2014 as a Master's student and then started his PhD within the Marie Curie ITN MOLESCO project in collaboration with Prof. Jascha Repp (University of Regensburg).
