I originally joined the IBM Research - Zurich Lab in 2002, working on the Design and implementation of innovative solutions in Business Analytics, especially in CRM and Risk Management, leveraging data mining, simulation and portfolio optimization technologies.
From 2008 - 2012, I transferred to IBM Switzerland as a Market Insights Specialist.
With more than 6 years of experience in Data Analytics Research, I have participated in projects in several industries such as Travel & Transportation, Banking or Retail, mostly in the areas of Marketing and Risk Management. Previously, I spent 4 years in the European Marketing department of IBM as market research senior advisor for the Midmarket and Channels organization, providing integrated customer insights for IBM executives.
In 2012, I returned to the IBM Research - Zurich Lab, where I am currently working on a worldwide internal project for Strategic Outsourcing. My research areas of interest are natural language processing (NLP), text classification, conceptual search and BigData.
