Stacy is a Research Staff Member in the IBM Customer Experience Lab. Her current work focuses on leveraging innovation to help clients solve challenging business problems in terms of in how they interact with and provide services to their customers. Stacy's prior research has focused on areas related to government and smarter cities, including the study of intra- and inter-organizational information sharing in government, the modeling of data and business processes from municipalities, the use of cloud computing for smarter cities and the cross-agency coordination of emergency response efforts. Stacy earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from South Carolina State University and Duke University (respectively). Stacy earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
