I am a Research Staff Member in Center for Computational Health at IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. Before joined IBM, I was a Research Assistant with the Center for Data Analytics and Biomedical Informatics at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA from 2007 to 2012. I also worked as interns at GlaxoSmithKline in 2011 and Siemens Corporate Research in 2012 respectively.
My research interests include Machine Learning, Data Mining, and their applications to Computational Medicine and Health Informatics. I am leading translational informatics research in Center for Computational Health, and our current projects focus on drug safety, drug repositioning, and precision medicine.
I serve on the program committees of leading international conferences including IJCAI, UAI, KDD, SDM, BIBM, and BCB. I serve on editorial board of CPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology, an official journal of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT) and the International Society of Pharmacometrics (ISoP).
I have been awarded IBM's Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (OTAA) for Patient Similarity Analytics in 2015.
