Current Research Interests

Computational genomics, Pattern Discovery, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Population Genomics, Comparative Genomics, NGS Analysis, Bioinformatics, Cancer Genomics, Topological Data Analysis.

I am currently leading the science team in the cancer genomics, neurological genomics (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's), Watson for Genomics. and the Sequence the Food Supply Chain Consortium.  I also led the IBM Science team in the Cacao Consortium with MARS and USDA and continue to work on plant genomics. Also, I led the  Reco project/Genographic Project with National Geographic and continue to work on population genomics.

Current NSF grant (senior consultant) on Logic, Topology and Genomics.
