Obinna Anya is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research – Almaden. His research interests include computer-supported co-operative work, operational analytics, services computing, and agent-based modeling. His current work focuses on SLA-driven analytics for predictive management of service provisioning in cloud systems. In his previous work, he examined the design of human-centred systems and open models of working and collaboration in network-enabled organizations of the future. Obinna has a PhD in computer science, an MSc in distributed systems – both from the University of Liverpool, UK – and a BSc in computer science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Before coming to IBM, he worked as a research scientist at Liverpool Hope University, UK, where he was the lead researcher on a British Council sponsored project on context-aware collaborative environments for e-health decision support. At his leisure, Obinna enjoys African folktales, listening to instrumentals, playing lawn tennis and observing nature.
