Hamid R. Motahari-Nezhad is a Research Staff Member, and Research Group Lead in Computing-as-a-Service Department at IBM Almaden Research Center. His research interest include data analytics, services science, services computing, cognitive computing, business process management and case management.
Hamid is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of ACM, ISSIP (International Society of Service Innovation Professionals) member and Co-Chair of Services Science PIC (Professional Interest Community) in IBM Research. He holds a Senior Visiting Fellow (Visiting Associate Professor) position at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, the University of New South Wales, Australia, where he is involved in the supervision of graduate research and PhD students in the areas of big data, and querying and analysis of business process data. Hamid is a member of IBM Academy of Technology.
