Dr. Mehdi Moradi is a manager and scientist in the area of machine learning for medical image analysis at IBM Almaden Research Center. He graduated from the School of Computing at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, in 2008. After completing research fellowships at the University of British Columbia (2008-2011) and at Harvard Medical School (2011-2012), he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia as an assistant professor in 2012. He joined IBM Research in 2014.

Dr. Moradi now manages the Image Analytics and MedNet team which aims at developing machine learning and big data methods for healthcare and medical imaging applications. For a list of publications, please see Dr. Moradi's public Google Scholar profile.
