I am a Research Staff Member in the Information Security Group at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. My current research interests lie along the boundaries of Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile security. My research aims to identify and thwart critical security threats that plague IoT and mobile platforms and applications. My research methodology particularly involves designing real systems and tools to address security challenges. I am broadly interested in learning about how secure systems and networks can be effectively designed and deployed.
Previously, I received my PhD from the College of Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology. I was affiliated with Georgia Tech Information Security Center (GTISC). I completed my Master's degree in the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee, India.
