John T.E. Timm is a Senior Software Engineer in the Healthcare Systems Research department at IBM Almaden Research Center. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Computer Systems Engineering (2001), a Master of Computer Science (M.C.S.) (2004), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science (2008) all from Arizona State University. John is currently project co-lead for the Model-Driven Health Tools (MDHT) project at Open Health Tools (OHT). He joined the Healthcare Systems Research team in 2008, bringing with him research interests in the areas of model-driven development and semantic web technologies. John is interested in creating novel approaches for solving data integration and semantic interoperability problems in healthcare.
