His major research intereset is in solving two challenges in nanotechnology: resolution limit and scalability. He is interested in developing novel micro/nanofabrication process to enable crucial applications in healthcare such as cancer diagnosis, antibacterial applications, as well wearable sensors
Huan Hu received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering Degrees from Tsinghua University in China in 2003 and 2006. He received his Ph.D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Universit of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Aug, 2014. His Ph.D thesis is on exploring the use of a thermal atomic force microscopy tip as a nanolithography tool for fabricating Nanoelectromechanical Systems.
