Dr. Bo Peng is a Postdoctoral Researcher at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. His current research projects focus on silicon nanophotonic packaging for optical interconnects applications. His other research interests include optical backscattering, nonlinear optical effects, micro laser, non-Hermitian optics in integrated waveguide devices and optical microresonators.
Dr. Peng received a B.S. degree in Optics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China in 2009, a M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis (WUSTL) in 2011 and 2015. His research interests at Washington University include optical microresonator, microcavity laser, optical micro sensor, cavity-QED, non-Hermitian optics, PT-symmetric microcavities, fluorescent & raman spectroscopy, optomechanics.
