I joined IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in May 2016, where I started working with the department of Mathematical Sciences. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral associate at MIT with the computational imaging group. During 2012-2015, I served as a postdoctoral research scientist in the compressed sensing group at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My research fundamentally focuses in optimization theory and statistics, with applications to various areas of data science, artificial intelligence and modern signal processing.
