IBM & ASTRON Centre for Exascale Technology

I am a postdoc researcher at the IBM & ASTRON Center for Exascale Technology in the Netherlands, where we are tackling the problems of next generation radio-astronomy and generating the knowledge to support the construction of the Square-Kilometer Array (the SKA), the World's largest radio telescope.

I work with high-speed networks and try to minimize the power consumption of data transfers between components of the SKA (hundreds of kilometers) using RDMA technology and flash storage.

I received my BSc and MScC from the Technical University of Bialystok, Poland, and my PhD from the University of Beira Interior, Portugal. My former positions include Siemens R&D, Microsoft Portugal and Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics.
