Gakuto KURATA is a staff researcher at IBM Research - Tokyo and belongs to the speech technology group. He joined IBM in April 2004, after obtaining M.S. in Information Science and Technology from the University of Tokyo. He received a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from the University of Tokyo in 2013 (Ph.D. thesis). His research interests lie in Speech Recognition on various systems, from gigantic servers to embedded systems. He is also focusing on Speech Analytics.
