Tanuja is a research software engineer at Smarter Energy group in IBM Research - India. She is currently working on Smarter Energy research initiatives like embedded analytics for demand response. Her research interests are in machine learning, data mining, embedded analytics and optimization.

She pursued her Masters in Computer Science at IISc, Bangalore. Previously, she was associated with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. for four years as Technical Architect.
