Sheetal is a researcher at the IBM India Research Lab. She joined IRL in 2006 and has since then been working with the Telecom Research Group. Her work is mainly focused on technologies for emerging economies. In particular, she works on voice applications that can be created by and for the people at the bottom of the pyramid to bring the benefits of Internet technologies to this untouched segment.
