I am a member of the Smarter Energy Systems group. My areas of interest include Multi-Agent Systems, Game Theory, Mechanism Design, Self-Organisation, Disaster Response and Smart Grid applications.
I received B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT-Hyderabad, India in 2006, and PhD in Computer Science from University of Southampton, UK in 2009. My PhD advisors were Prof. Nicholas R. Jennings and Dr. Nick Gibbins, and my area of specialisation was self-organisation in multi-agent systems.
Prior to joining IBM, I was a Research Engineer at Secure Meters (UK) Ltd., Winchester, UK and a Visiting Researcher to University of Southampton, UK where I focused on using A.I. in the smart energy domain.
More recently, I worked as the Principal Scientist at a stealth startup 'Global StealthCo', applying analytics and machine learning techniques to search and data-acquisition systems.
