Mitesh is currently working on automating service delivery activities. In the past, he has mostly worked in unstructured text analytics & classification, business process orchestration & compliance, and simulation/modeling for service delivery related processes. His research interests are in the areas of machine learning, business process modeling & optimization, image and spam recognition.

Mitesh has a Masters in Computer Science from University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). His thesis focused on image classification using SVMs within the Multiple Instance learning framework. Prior to joining IBM Research - India, he worked for three years in US.
