I am a member of the Telecom and Mobile Research group at IRL where I build technology that facilitates socio-economic development. I am not only interested in solving technical challenges, but in understanding social needs as well.

Prior to joining IRL, I was a graduate student at Caltech, where I received a PhD for applying formal methods to distributed algorithms. Prior to being a graduate student, I was an undergrad at RPI.

In the last (and next) few months:

• One of my past co-authors is now an IBM Fellow!
• My sister won a Grammy!
• Our voice projects were recently launched. Read the press releases here and here.
• Pakistan-ICTD was a great experience.
• Caltech did it (again) :)
