I am a researcher in the Analytics and Mobile Enabled Solutions (AMES) group at IBM Research - India. I am currently working in the area of Mobile Sensing and Analytics where we collect, fuse and analyze data from in-built mobile sensors and use them to accurately infer real time physical context of users such as 3D indoor location, current activity etc. Businesses can use this context to deliver personalized and context specific services to the user at the right place and at the right time.
My other areas of interest include machine learning, modeling and analyzing distributed systems and distributed problem solving. My earlier works include game theoretic learning in multi-agent systems, distributed network monitoring, simulating and optimizing complex services delivery.
I am a nature-lover and love travelling to places where I can come close to the nature. In my free time, I also play a bit of harmonica and love watching movies and reading story books.
