Haifa Research Lab, Haifa, Israel
I joined IBM Research over 20 years ago, after graduating the Interdisciplinary Program for Fostering the Excellence, in Tel Aviv University, majoring in Linguistics and Computer Sciences. During these years I worked on some fascinating projects, some with prestigous clients like the American Museum of Natural History in New York City and the State Hermitage Museum in Russia.
It's funny now to remember that on 2000, when I presented my talk about knowledge management having to turn from documents to people and collaboration, it was called 'the road not taken' and was presented at the 'Bird of a Feather' channel in the IBM Knowledge Management conference.
I worked for many years on taking Research sssets to the market; worked with what was then called IBM On Demand Innovation Services, and was coordinating HRL routes-to-market activities in the areas of Contact Center Automation, CRM, and Enterprise Collaboration.
In 2009 I joined the Image and Document Analytics team to lead a number of high profile projects, with global teams (development in China and Israel, business management in the US, deployment in India).
