William has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Universidad Industrial de Santander - Colombia (2009), a Master degree in Oil and Energy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2013). Currently, William is a Ph.D. student at the same University in Oil and Gas.
William is Ph.D. student at the Rheology laboratory where it is working in rising bubbles in complex fluids like cement pastes or oil. At IBM, William is working in microfluidics to understand the behavior of dynamic interfaces of complex fluids in micro and nanocapillaries.
Before joining at IBM, William was intern (2007) at the Oil company ECOPETROL as engineer of rotational equipment. In 2008 William was application engineer at the company John crane. In 2009 William was the Regional Assistant Manager at the National Association of Mechanical Engineer Students - ANEIM.
